California Privacy Notice Supplement

 

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (CCPA), provides California residents (each, a consumer or you) with specific rights regarding certain personal information collected, disclosed and sold by certain businesses. This supplement describes those rights and explains how to exercise them. This supplement does not apply to personal information to which the CCPA does not apply or for which the CCPA does not require disclosure of information in an online privacy policy.

This supplement augments our Privacy Notice. Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this supplement.

Under the CCPA, you have the right to request any of the following related to your personal information:

  • disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information MobileIron has collected
  • deletion of personal information MobileIron has collected from you
  • disclosure of the categories of personal information MobileIron has collected, the categories of sources from which we collected it, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling it, the categories of third parties with whom we share it, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected
  • disclosure of the categories of personal information we collected or sold and the categories of third parties to whom it was sold

You have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment by MobileIron for the exercise of these privacy rights.

Requests can be submitted by you or by your authorized agent by email to privacy@mobileiron.com or by phone to (877) 286-7836 (toll free). Requests must indicate the type of request and be accompanied by your full name, California residential address and email address (if available). If submitted by your authorized agent, the request must include the same details plus evidence of your written permission to submit a request on your behalf. Whenever feasible, we will compare the identifying information you submit to the identifying information we already maintain to verify that you are the consumer about whom we have collected personal information, or a person authorized by the consumer to act on the consumer’s behalf.

Within the last 12 months, MobileIron has collected and disclosed to third parties (including certain service providers and other MobileIron companies) the categories of personal information indicated below for business purposes. The personal information we have collected or disclosed about you depends on the context of your interactions with MobileIron, the choices you make, including your privacy settings, and the aspects and features of a Site, Service or other means of interaction. MobileIron does not sell your personal information.

MobileIron’s products and services are for use by organizations. As a result, MobileIron does not intentionally collect or use the personal information of minors under 16 years of age or sell it with or without affirmative authorization.
