MobileIron Mobile Asset Management Receives Integration Certification from ServiceNow

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ: MOBL), the leader in mobile enterprise security, announced today that it has received certification of its Mobile Asset Management integration with ServiceNow.  MobileIron has also attained Select status in the ServiceNow Technology Partner Program. The Select status recognizes the market adoption of MobileIron's certified integrations with ServiceNow.

ServiceNow certification signifies that MobileIron's new Mobile Asset Management integration has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration security, interoperability, and performance. The certification also ensures that MobileIron used ServiceNow's best practices for the design and implementation of its integration.

This is the second phase of the MobileIron integration for ServiceNow. The first phase, in 2013, saw the integration of the MobileIron BYOD Portal into ServiceNow's Service Catalog. The phase one integration makes mobile device management part of the existing employee self-service application, enabling IT organizations to accelerate their mobile rollouts and reduce the number of incidents to manage. In addition, the MobileIron integration simplifies and accelerates IT workflow by enabling service desk agents to take care of many level 1 tasks such as device lock, unlock, find, or selective wipe of enterprise data within the ServiceNow interface. Both ServiceNow integrations will be available as part of MobileIron's Platinum bundle.
