The New MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar Revealed

Apple’s latest version of the MacBook Pro now includes a touchscreen strip above the keyboard that provides access to the traditional function keys. The new Touch Bar can also change the buttons according to the tasks you’re working on and the apps that you’re using. Google Brain Gets Cryptic with New Algorithms to Protect Messages from AI

Two worlds collide: cryptography and artificial intelligence as the Google Brain team creates AIs who create cryptographic algorithms in order to protect their own messages from another AI. Alice, Bob, and Eve, three neural networks were tasked to communicate with one another, while one attempted to eavesdrop and decrypt the messaging. The result was that Google Brain researchers identified that indeed neural networks, like Alice, Bob, and Eve, can protect their own messaging by developing cryptographic algorithms.
