Android Add-ons for Docs and Sheets
Google has announced that they are providing Android add-ons for Docs and Sheets in order to make third-party services while using Google’s office programs on mobile easier to access. Some of the add-ons will include pulling CRM data into a spreadsheet, preparing a contract for e-signatures, and other features. Many partners were involved with the setup of add-ons: DocuSign, ProsperWorks, AppSheet, and other services. Critics say that Google is addressing the ongoing rise of people using office programs on their mobile devices and not just on desktop/laptops.
